orocco’s Agency for Sustainable Energy opened on October 14 the prequalification phase of the Noor PV Multisites program, a set of photovoltaic plants spread across several regions of the Kingdom with a total capacity of at least 350 megawatts.

The consultation seeks the contractor that will design, supply and build the plants under an EPC scheme, then operate and maintain them. Applications are due by noon on Monday, November 30.
Only the companies retained in this first phase will then be invited to submit a bid. The announcement names neither the selected sites nor the program’s budget.
By betting this time on plants scattered across the country rather than on a single complex as at Ouarzazate, Masen will bring solar generation closer to the regions that consume it.
