anadian hotel group Four Seasons announced on October 8, 2026, from its Toronto headquarters, the development of Four Seasons Resort Tangier at Cap Malabata, in partnership with Royal Resort Cap Malabata, a luxury development company backed by GFH. Set on the northern coast, facing the Strait of Gibraltar and the Spanish shore, the resort will have ninety-nine rooms and suites, including twenty-seven standalone villas, along more than 260 meters of waterfront. The architecture is entrusted to Arjitec, the interiors to Goddard Littlefair. The program includes four restaurants, a spa, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor event venues, and the brand’s children’s club.
After Casablanca, Marrakech and Rabat, where the brand settled at Kasr Al Bahr, Tangier becomes the group’s fourth Moroccan address. The choice of site is no accident: the resort will sit some fifteen minutes from the high-speed rail station and three quarters of an hour from Ibn Battouta Airport. Neither an opening date nor an investment figure was disclosed. Cap Malabata, long a plain headland above the bay, will thus become the strait’s showcase for luxury hospitality.
