he board of directors of CIH Bank, meeting on September 16, approved the accounts at June 30: customer deposits reached 102.2 billion dirhams, against 89.7 a year earlier, crossing the hundred-billion mark for the first time.
Sight deposits, up 17.6%, now make up 87% of that book, which lowers the cost of funding by as much. Credits keep the same pace, at 119.0 billion dirhams, up 13.3%.
Profitability, for its part, moves by inches. Consolidated net banking income comes to 2,825.8 million dirhams, up only 2.8%, and the consolidated cost of risk is all but unchanged, at 590.2 million.
Consolidated net profit gains 3.3%, to 695.4 million dirhams, and net profit attributable to the group does not move: 617.0 million, or 0.3% better than in the first half of 2025.
The network now counts 444 branches, and a perpetual subordinated bond of 750 million dirhams has come to strengthen own funds. It is the shape of that deposit book, overwhelmingly sight money, that will decide the margin of the years to come.
