he Euromed University of Fes (UEMF) and Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University inaugurated their Shared International Campus on Thursday, October 15, in the heart of the UEMF eco-campus, the very first of its kind for the Paris university.

The partnership dates back to 2016, with an offshore political science bachelor’s degree awarding a double diploma, strengthened in 2022 by a Franco-Moroccan master’s in business law, then by a second master’s devoted to “Mediterranean and African policies.”
The new space is meant to encourage student and faculty mobility and host joint research projects. Management, history, law and political science, and artificial intelligence are among the avenues under consideration.
The president of Paris 1, Christine Neau-Leduc, sees in it “a new step in the international development of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne University,” whose ambition is to build regional hubs for teaching and research in the humanities and social sciences. Fes will be the first milestone.
