August alone passed the two million mark for the first time, up 3% year on year.

The figures land as the 2023-2026 Roadmap runs out, and Tourism Minister Fatim-Zahra Ammor reads them as proof of well-aimed investment: “The momentum of Moroccan tourism rests durably on solid foundations.”

The statement leaves the question of distribution whole. The minister raises it herself, calling for the benefit to reach more of the country’s regions and the trade’s operators, and the answer will fall to the strategy taking over.
