viation Capital Group (ACG), the lessor based in Newport Beach, California, announced on Monday, October 5, the delivery of a Boeing 737-8 to Royal Air Maroc. The aircraft is the last of six the company was due to hand over to the national carrier in 2026 from its own order book, and it brings to six the number of 737-8s that have joined the Moroccan fleet this way within six months. Carter A. White, ACG’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer, called it “a fantastic achievement by everyone involved” and said the lessor was proud to support the airline’s fleet renewal and expansion.
Founded in 1989 and a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s Tokyo Century, ACG reports some five hundred owned, managed and committed aircraft as of June 30, 2026, leased to roughly eighty-five airlines in about fifty countries. For Royal Air Maroc, these six latest-generation narrow-bodies come on lease, and the release says nothing of their deployment or of the terms of the contract. ACG’s order book for the airline is thus complete for the year: it is on its routes that the contribution of these aircraft will now be measured.
