Over the first eight months of the year, American sales to Morocco totaled 4.746 billion dollars, up 23.8%, and American purchases from the Kingdom 1.498 billion, up 21%, for a surplus of 3.248 billion in Washington’s favor. American exports have topped 600 million dollars every month since March, a threshold they had never crossed before, their previous monthly record dating from August 2025, at 584.5 million. These figures are compiled on the American side, in current dollars and without seasonal adjustment. September will tell whether August’s record marks a plateau or a mere peak.
