he Casablanca Stock Exchange suspended trading in Managem on Friday, October 30, at the request of the Moroccan capital markets authority (AMMC), pending the publication of important information about the mining group.
The exchange’s notice says nothing about the nature of that information, or about when trading will resume.
The measure came in the middle of the session, as the stock, locked on the downside, was down 10%.
The day before, the annual index review had already cut Managem’s weight in the MASI. Nothing points to a link between the two decisions.
Trading will not resume until the announced information is made public.
