orocco’s trade deficit reached 323.94 billion dirhams at the end of September, up 25.4% on a year earlier, according to provisional Office des Changes data.
Imports of goods rose 17%, to nearly 708 billion, while exports gained only 10.7%, to 384.05 billion.
The energy bill grew 37%. Car exports reach 132.11 billion, up 14.3%, and aerospace exports are up 22.3%.
The end-October figures will show whether the gap keeps widening at this pace.
