The year closes with growth of 4.9%, carried in particular by a sustained investment effort, while inflation did not exceed 0.8% on average.

The central bank held to an accommodative stance, bringing its policy rate down to 2.25% while fully meeting the liquidity demands expressed by the banks.

Official reserve assets strengthened to 443 billion dirhams, close to five and a half months of imports.

The report sets the common measure against which the next finance bill and the coming monetary cycle will be argued. The kingdom, for its part, will have learned to grow without waking its prices.
