The consideration is 4 million Canadian dollars, payable in Aya shares. The deal remains subject to due diligence and to Moroccan, Canadian and Toronto Stock Exchange approvals.
The ground is not untouched, it is poorly known. Older work left several copper and silver occurrences there, with surface samples running as high as 837 grams of silver per tonne and 4.6% copper.
It is the second time in a month that the company has widened its hold around Zgounder, after a 259 square kilometer portfolio acquired on August 6.
