orty-six thousand four hundred and thirty-nine passengers in twenty-four hours: that is the peak reached by Casablanca’s Mohammed V airport over the first weekend of August, and the centerpiece of the summer report published by Airports of Morocco, the former National Airports Office.

The operator announces record attendance across the whole network: Marrakech Menara passed thirty thousand passengers in a single day, and Tangier Ibn Battouta counted thirteen thousand three hundred and nine.
The release gives no national total for the season: it reports single-day peaks, never a cumulative figure.
What it does establish is that the surge no longer comes from the historic gateways alone, since Tetouan posted a 36.14% rise on its busiest day. The kingdom had already crossed thirty-six million three hundred thousand travelers in 2025.
